Driving in general is extremely dangerous. Following too close, improperly secured loads, driver fatigue, and much more are all hazards to any driving job. This course is designed to give participants guidelines to driving in the oilfield setting. This is a beneficial course for ALL drivers, not just those in industry. This is an Alberta Defensive Driving course. Successful completion qualifies eligible candidates for a 3 demerit reduction from their AB driving record.

These programs are based on safe operation of mobile equipment. All programs discuss legislations and regulations on the specific equipment. All contain OHS employer and operator responsibilities, pre use inspection requirements, and operational procedures, for the safe and successful operation of the respective equipment.
Aerial Work Platform (AWP): or Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) are focused on the elements of Scissor lift, straight stick boom lifts, or articulating man lift equipment for various industrial applications. Requires valid Fall Protection certification prior to the course as well as a practical operating component set up specific to your work site!
Skid-Steer: This program focuses on the safe operation and inspection of a skid-steer loader. Participants will be required to attend the training session on the skid-steer. The practical evaluation is based on site-specific training and attachments being used.
Rough Terrain Forklift (RTFL)/Telehandler/Zoom Boom: This program will guide participants on the complexity of lifting loads with a RTFL, as well as guidelines for safe operation of the machines. Practical components of this program are also done specific to the worksite and common usage of the RTFL.
Forklift: This program is based on conventional forklift or lift truck machines. Participants will understand safe guidelines for use of a forklift, proper pre use inspection procedures, and operate the forklift with applications directly related to the worksite.
All of our operator courses require a minimum number of participants, and can be catered to your worksite. Prices are set per person, per course.
